Collection: Botanical Facial Serums for Reactive Skin
Botanical Facial Serums for Reactive Skin
Wild California skincare • Anhydrous oil formulas • Small-batch craftsmanship
A facial serum is the most concentrated layer of your skincare routine. Our botanical serums are built differently: pure oils infused with wild California plants, no water, no preservatives, no synthetics. Each formula is slow-infused over six weeks or more, drawing out the plant's bioactive flavonoids the way the earth intended. The result is skincare that behaves like the land it comes from — quiet, deep, and alive.
What Makes Our Serums Different
A different kind of serum, rooted in place.
- Anhydrous by design — pure oil, no water phase, no preservative system needed
- Wild-crafted botanicals — California natives harvested at peak bloom, slow-infused for six weeks
- Made for reactive skin — formulated for redness-prone and rosacea-prone complexions; every batch patch-tested
- Stable actives — vitamin C (tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate) and CoQ10 that stay potent without aqueous degradation
- Small-batch and transparent — every bottle traceable to its infusion date; ingredients listed fully, no hidden compounds

Frequently Asked Questions
Are these serums suitable for rosacea or reactive skin?
Yes — they are formulated specifically for reactive and redness-prone complexions. Essential oil loads are kept below thresholds typically tolerated by sensitive skin; warming or vasoactive botanicals are excluded; and each batch is patch-tested before it leaves our hands.
Do your serums contain preservatives?
No — because they are anhydrous (waterless) oil formulas, bacteria and mold cannot grow without water. We rely on clean handling, cool storage, and amber glass packaging instead of synthetic preservatives.
What is the difference between a water-based serum and an oil serum?
Water-based serums require emulsifiers, pH stabilizers, and preservatives to prevent bacterial growth. Oil serums bypass all of that: pure botanical actives dissolved in stable carrier oils, longer shelf life without preservatives, and deeper absorption for dry or barrier-compromised skin.
How do I incorporate a facial oil serum into my routine?
Apply three to four drops to clean skin morning and/or evening. Press into the face and neck; layer beneath moisturizer if desired or wear alone. If using vitamin C in the morning, apply before sunscreen. At night, it can be your last step before bed.
