Hummingbird Sage Essential Oil (Artisan Wildcrafted Pure and Genuine Salvia spathacea)
Hummingbird Sage Essential Oil (Artisan Wildcrafted Pure and Genuine Salvia spathacea)
As children, while walking through the woods, we used to rub Hummingbird Sage leaves on our skin for their wonderful scent. Salvia spathacea essential oil is calming and centering for the mind. It is known to be antiseptic, antibacterial, sedative, detoxifying, and antidepressant. We harvest Hummingbird Sage on our ranch where it grows in abundance. Using sustainable and ethical wildcrafting methods we gather just the topmost leaves and flowers from the plants. This ensures that enough of the plant remains intact so that it can continue the supply and often will flower at the cut stem again during the same season with two to four flowers instead of the one. When wildcrafting, it is crucial that to never strip the entire plant and we take the utmost care with our harvesting techniques to ensure our patches of sage remain healthy and abundant leaving plenty of flowers for the birds and the bees as well for they are our true gardeners. You can enjoy this precious and rare essential oil knowing the native flora Its made from is protected and thriving.
